Thief who broke into Kim K’s Paris hotel room slyly says he doesn’t care if she’s traumatized

In a new interview, one of the robbers who broke into Kim Kardashian’s Paris hotel room in 2016 said he had no remorse for the crime and “[doesn’t] care” Kardashian was traumatized by the incident.

Yunis Abbas was one of 12 men charged with the crime – in which Kardashian and a hotel worker were held hostage at gunpoint in his hotel room. Abbas was recently granted an early release from prison for health reasons.

Talk with Vice NewsAbbas said Kardashian’s behavior on his former reality show keeping up with the Kardashians convinced him that Kardashian was wealthy on a level justifying his attack on her and he has no remorse for the incident.

Abbas said Vice he didn’t know who Kardashian was at the time, but was well acquainted with her then-husband Ye.

While researching her while planning the crime, Abbas watched episodes of keeping up with the Kardashians and one episode in particular marked him.

He said Vice:

“I saw one of her shows where she threw her diamond in the pool, on that episode of keeping up with the Kardashians.”

“I was like, ‘She’s got a lot of money. That lady doesn’t care.'”

He went on to say that of course he understands that Kardashian was traumatized by the event, but he just didn’t care.

“Of course, she must have been traumatized. I’m sure…”

“…As she was throwing money, I was there to get it back and that was it.”

“Guilty? No, I don’t care. I don’t care.”

But the incident was more than just a robbery for Kardashian, as she detailed during a 2020 interview with David Letterman.

During that encounter, Kardashian recounted how Abbas and his 11 accomplices handcuffed her, bound her with zip ties, and taped her mouth and eyes taped.

Kardashian also said that since she was only wearing her bathrobe, she was sure she was going to be sexually assaulted and began mentally preparing for the brutality.

She told Letterman:

“So I was like, ‘OK, now is the time, I’m going to get raped. Just deal, like, it’s gonna happen. You know, like just getting ready.

She also started thinking about her sister Kourtney Kardashian, who had been out with friends.

She imagined him coming back to the hotel suite with his brutalized corpse.

“I kept thinking, [Kourtney’s] going to come home, and I’m going to be dead in the bedroom, and she’s going to be traumatized for the rest of her life if she sees me.

On social media, many were horrified by Abbas’ comments.

Abbas also detailed how he and his accomplices planned the attack, saying they followed Kardashian on Snapchat.

He threatened other celebrities living similar lifestyles.

“They should be a little less showy towards people who can’t afford it. For some people, this is provocative.

Kardashian said the anxiety and flashbacks she’s suffered since the ordeal have indeed changed her approach to social media, only posting content after the fact so she’s not as easily tracked. .
