Gamescom kicked off Tuesday with the two-hour Opening Night Live presentation, hosted by The Game Awards’ Geoff Keighley. Streamed live on YouTube and Twitch – as well as in person in Cologne, Germany – Keighley and Opening Night Live aired updates and announcements for more than 30 games, including dead island 2, Hogwarts Legacy, Gotham Knights, and sound borders.
Here are all the announcements from Opening Night Live, including some that aren’t exactly games, like Hideo Kojima’s podcast and a Pokémon car.
It’s hard to say exactly what Everywhere is based on the trailer, but there’s shooting, driving, explosions, space, and apparently an open world from developer Build A Rocket Boy. Everywhere is planned for 2023.
Funcom makes a game called Dune Dune awakening, an open-world survival MMO.
Hogwarts Legacy got a new trailer during Gamescom 2022 Opening Night Live, all about the dark arts. It is scheduled for February 10, 2023 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch.
Announced gearbox New Tales from the Borderlandsan episodic narrative game picked up after 2015 Tales from the Borders. It follows three new “lovable losers” to save the world. Coming in October.

zombie role play dead island 2 was originally announced in 2014, but was revealed again at Gamescom 2022. There are six playable characters, with a “pulpy, irreverent tone”. It is set to release on February 3, 2023 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
The Callisto Protocol
The Callisto Protocol arrives on December 2, and new live gameplay was showcased at Tuesday’s event. There are tentacles! Tentacles that mutate.
Hoyoverse has detailed its next update for Genshin Impactshowing a lush rainforest world.
Honkai: Stellar Rail
Honkai: Stellar Rail is the next game from Hoyoverse, and the developer has shown a brief trailer for the game.
Friends against friends
In one of the most exciting and colorful trailers for Opening Night Live, editor Raw Fury showed friends against friends, a card-based shooter.
WB Games Montreal has shared a new trailer for Gotham Knights on opening night live. The trailer gave us a look at who the team will be fighting, as well as an earlier release date of October 21.

Where the winds meet is an action game with sword fights and bows, and it looks pretty cool.

Lies of P, apparently inspired by Pinocchio, got a new trailer. It will be on Game Pass on release day.
A new studio, Ironbird Creations, from publisher All in! Games announced their new game, phantom hellcat. The 3D hack-and-slash game has a teenage protagonist who hunts down evil. No word on a release date, but it should be coming to Windows PCs and consoles.
Goat Simulator 3
After being announced earlier this year, Goat Simulator 3has a gameplay trailer showing exactly how all this mayhem will end.

Back to Monkey Island will be released on September 19.

Killer Klowns of Outer Space: The Game is adapted from the 1988 film, which was also adapted for Nintendo in 1989.
Raised on life
Justin Roiland’s Squanch Games showed off a new trailer for Raised on lifethe rick and morty the creator’s first-person shooter where guns (and other weapons) talk. It’s coming to Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X on December 13.

The Lords of the Dead was announced by Hexworks. It’s a sequel to the 2014 one. lords of the deadand coming to PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X. In the three-minute trailer, Hexworks showed off the world of dark fantasy.
Failed: Extraterrestrial Dawn
Survive Mars developer Haemimont Games showed up Failed: Alien Down, the planetary survival simulator, will be available in early access on PC in October. Players help a group of colonists survive in a “deadly alien world,” according to a press release.

Focus Entertainment and Deck13 Interactive have announced their new action fantasy role-playing game: Fallen Atlas. It’s described as having a “semi-open world full of ancient mysteries and threats,” and it’s coming to PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X in 2023. It looks like there’s going to be a lot of sandsliding.
The Survive to Trials
On Tuesday, developer Red Barrels showed off a new take on The last tests. It’s the next game in the Outlast franchise, and for the first time, it’s multiplayer. A closed beta period is planned for this year.
Unknown Worlds, which made Subnauticalannouncement Moonbreaker on opening night live. The developer described it as heart stone meets XCOM, but with miniatures that you can paint. It will arrive in Early Access on September 29.
New pictures of Homeworld 3 was shown, focusing on space battles by large fleets. It arrives in the first half of 2023.
